Greetings on a dreary Monday morning! But it is YOUR morning so go for it! Today is my book report day for you: I just finished two best sellers & I recommend BOTH!: Chelsea Handler’s ‘Are you There Vodka?’ – a very funnie read! She is a blue comedienne and I enjoy her tv show for its unscripted humor!

Her childhood in New Jersey is hysterical! Go buy it! Great fun! And then last night I finished Artie Lange’s ‘Too Fat to Fish’ – do not read this if you are depressed. Having said that, those of us 10+ years long time fans of Howard Stern and his comedy troupe will enjoy his growing up in New Jersey and his break into stand-up comedy. I was totally ‘page-turning’ and wrapped around his story – hence, my caveat on beware if you are depressed in any way. So I also caught him a few weeks ago on the home remodeling channel – he has absolutely let himself go health-wise – was not able to use a hammer even. And a fabulous shore home in Jersey! You must live to enjoy it!

So Artie, please turn over a new leaf in 2009! Keep going to Howard’s psychiatrist – professional help is a good thing. And get healthy! Everyone, pace yourself and I will do same. Adios.

‘Mornin! So let’s focus on our possible ‘tax freedom’ days in 2009 – keep thinking positively! Group think: we can make this a self-prophecy! LOL I love the proposed idea of 3 months with zero taxes! Talk about a genuine economic stimulus – amazing for those of us worker bees who slug it out every day at less than 100K! We already know ‘no raise’ for 2009 – none expected – so this ‘tax freedom’ would be most appreciated. So mind leap to best seller reading: just finished Robert Wagner’s Pieces of My Heart – great read! Very well written! “RJ” totally loved Natalie Wood – sigh! And I also finished George Hamilton’s “Don’t’ Mind If I do!” If you can, read them both – tons of fun Hollywood gossip! Get healthy! Stay healthy! pace yourself and I will do same. Adios.

‘Mornin! Today the chatter is all about resolutions! So the operational procedure is that we should not make any, then we don’t break any! Interestingly enough, the most petite gal I talked with today told me her resolution was to lose weight! I think we all are in awe of Marie Osmond and Valerie Bertinelli! Wow, they both look terrific! Small portions and eating on smaller plates is a great guideline. Unfortunately cold weather goes with a hot bowl of chili – LOL And I am focusing on just living smarter-er: eating a salad a day as my main guideline – gotta look great in skinny jeans! Let’s be healthy in 2009 and eat sensibly! Get healthy! Stay healthy! pace yourself and I will do same. Adios
