February Days of Celebration!
Happy Monday! It is YOUR day – make sure to use it! Unfortunately the stimulus news is hugely depressing. And the Governors are in DC to talk 44’s ears off regarding what each state really needs. I suspect the Republican Governors will continue to pushback due to attached strings for the stimulus funding and the Michigan Governor asking for their share – LOL The ebb and flow of politics! Keep your sense of humor! And what would George Washington think today? Few kids today are aware that February 22 was George Washington’s Birthday. We have melded the need for ‘Monday holidays’ into masking history it seems. More kids think about Mardi Gras at this time of year! But they don’t have a clue about the translated words of ‘Fat Tuesday’ leading into Ash Wednesday on Febuary 25 – few know that date’s significance as well I’ll bet. Call it progress.
