44 snubs Medal of Honor families
Good Morning! One more day to a cold Tampa Super Bowl Sunday! On to the White House: Although not publicized, it just came out that the 44’s chose NOT to attend the Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball. OMG Evidently, 48 Medal of Honor recipients and their families and other military families waited, but the 44s did not appear. It is the first time ever for this horrible mistake over 56 years and 14 inaugurations. I am disgusted too that the White House press kept this gaffe out of the news all this time. The Prez bragged and smiled that he made it to 10 inaugural balls. And now we hear he had not one extra ounce of energy to go to the Salute to Heroes Ball. We can only speculate that 1) he did not care to be with the military, or 2) he just was too tired to greet the Medals of Honor soldiers and their families. Who does he think fought for his many freedoms? So he sits in his shirtsleeves and turns up the heat so he will be comfy in the Oval Office and snubs the Medal of Honor recipients. And the press ‘his press’ ignores this huge mistake. Or perhaps this is just another example of that disrespectful ego not permitting the 44s to get professional help in hiring a media consultant who knows DC! Wake up! Chicago flair is way not DC protocol. Everyone, pace yourself and I will do same. Adios
